What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During take-off/climb from puw runway 23 at about 200' engine power significantly reduced to point pilot made decision to land on remaining runway. Touched down about 1000' marks at about 80 knots with max braking aircraft slid through runway end lights into overrun area. Never left pavement but propeller stuck runway end lights and one light struck belly of aircraft causing depression in fiberglass belly panel. Engine never stopped and pilot was able to taxi aircraft back to ramp without assistance. Minor damage to aircraft and two runway lights damaged.
