From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During a solo cross country flight, the student pilot arrived at Orange County Airport to conduct a normal landing on runway 08. In the traffic pattern, during the final leg, the pilot stated the aircraft was slightly high and slightly fast. The pilot continued to land. Upon landing onto runway 08, the aircraft landed flat with all three wheels touching down simultaneously causing the aircraft to balloon back up into the air. The aircraft then went into a porpoise, bounced an additional time, then made a hard landing. The hard landing resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. The aircraft's propeller, nose gear, and fuselage received noticeable damage.
