From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

This was on the second landing of the day at the end of the second leg of a flight. The aircraft touched down on the mains and when the nosewheel touched down the pilot reported a sensation like being pushed from behind, the aircraft assumed a nose low attitude and came to a stop with the nose skidding on the end of the nosewheel strut. The nosewheel, nosewheel bearings, bearing retaining bolt and end caps and the two sides of the nosewheel fork were behind the aircraft on the runway.
