From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The investigation of this incident revealed that the landing gear was partially extended. In this case the nose gear doors were just open. Both main gear appeared to have equal extension, approximately in the first 20% of movement to the down position. In the cockpit the gear handle was in the down position. The landing gear circuit breaker was popped. This condition appears to be consistent with the pilots? Statement. During a phone interview on 04/13/2021, privacy data omitted shared that the turbulence coupled with the extreme difficulty in making radio contact with klck tower led to his channelized attention, resulting in his failure to complete his normal ?landing flow? Habit pattern and therefore failed to verify the gear was fully extended prior to landing.
