From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot departed from hqz during climb out the autopilot began having issues. Pilot disengaged the autopilot and turned back for the airport. During the turn both screens of the G1000 flickered then died according to the pilot. At the same time of the G1000 becoming inoperable the pilot and passengers reported that the ship powered anr headsets died too, indicating full electrical failure. Upon entering the pattern the pilot looked for but could not see light gun signals. While on final the pilot put the gear selector in the down position but failed to realize that the gear did not move and landed with the gear in the up position.

Based off pilot interview an emergency checklist was not used. He focused on getting the airplane back on the ground quickly.
