From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated upon landing to the south at the home airstrip, he applied brakes and the tires locked-up on wet grass. While working the brakes and rudder pedals to keep the aircraft going straight, the aircraft started to slide toward a ditch along the left side of the runway, over the crown of the centerline of the runway. At that time, the aircraft contacted a dry patch of grass while the aircraft was going downhill and then hit a bump causing the tail to come up. Pilot could not recover and aircraft flipped, tail over nose and came to rest on it's back. Pilot and passenger released their safety harness's and exited the aircraft uninjured.

As the FAA filed it
