From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The airman stated that she was doing her second solo flight. Her first solo flight was the day before. The winds were reported at that time 050 degrees at 7 knots. The runway in use was 06. The airman had completed one full stop landing earlier, and this was her second attempt at a full stop landing. Based on the photo sent by the airport manager, it appears airman locked the brakes after touchdown and the aircraft skidded off the runway into the grass. After the incident, maintenance pulled the aircraft onto the taxiway and taxied the aircraft to the hangar without any issues.
