From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was on a re-positioning flight from Timmerman Airport in Milwaukee WI to burlington WI when the nose landing gear failed to extend when commanded. After confirmation that the gear was not extended and several attempts to extend the nose landing gear, the pilot returned to and landed the aircraft at Timmerman Airport with the nose gear up. The aircraft sustained minor damage as a result of the gear up landing. The single pilot on board was not injured. VFR weather conditions prevailed during the flight.
