From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 6/17/21 I was given an 8020-9 (fax copy) report. The report stated that privacy data omitted(PIC) while piloting a helicopter (N642L a R22) received a low fuel indication and made a precautionary landing at Louisville point park in Louisville, TN. The flight was planned from rnc to gkt. Louisville point park is approximately 1NM from the tys airport.

The helicopter made a normal landing (no damage), was fueled by privacy data omitted and released by privacy data omitted (ASI, bna FSDO).

During the investigation it was determined that privacy data omitted had been non-compliant with 14CFR91.151(b). The investigation did prove that privacy data omitted was under power and made a normal landing for a helicopter in a grassy area of the park. No damage to the helicopter or public property was found.
