From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 15 June, 2021 at approximately 1630 pm CST, N6088K, serial number 501B-0281, after refueling and reloading with fertilizer near Beech Grove, Arkansas (latitude: 36° 9'53.5"n, longitude: 90°38'46.3"w), was conducting the aerial application of fertilizer on a corn field approximately six (6) miles south-west (latitude: 36° 6'26.69"n, longitude: 90°43'21.51"w) of the departure point. Sometime shortly thereafter, a witness on the ground (latitude: 36° 6'4.75"n, longitude: 90°42'55.90"w) observed the aircraft flying in a south easterly direction when it inexplicably crashed into the ground (latitude: 36° 6'18.64"n, longitude: 90°42'54.37"w). The aircraft impacted the ground at a relatively high angle of attack with wreckage contained almost entirely within the footprint of the aircraft, with a post-crash fire consuming the forward approximately 80 percent of the aircraft.
