From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 6/18/2021 at 2010Z, N6942M experienced a propeller strike while landing on runway 16R. The aircraft taxied to the ramp. One person on board, no injuries. During a telephone interview with this investigator on 8/2/2021, the PIC stated he applied the brakes to maintain directional control during rollout, and the airplane pitched forward and struck the ground. He released the brakes as soon as he heard the propeller hitting. He stated the mishap was not a ground loop but rather a misapplication of the brakes.
