From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During flight from mlb to cfo, aircraft stopped at rue for fuel. Fuel spill occurred during process. FBO completed fueling and moved aircraft to covered parking due to weather while pilot rested for 4HRS. Upon landing at cfo, during landing rollout. Aircraft made abrupt turn to left with no input. Pilot tried to steer to the right with no effect. Aircraft departed l/h side of runway 26, impacting runway lights and taxiway sign. Nose gear departed aircraft at this time. Aircraft engine was at idle when nose settled on the ground and slid for 400 feet prior to stop. Tow pins attaching lower drag brace to front wheel show left side sheared and right side bent and elongated.
