From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot intended to land runway 02 at 1U2 airport. The pilot noticed a crop duster in the area of the airport and assumed it had departed to the north after taking off. While on final for rwy 02 the pilot thought a seperate crop duster descended on a short right base for rwy 20 and appeared to be getting ready to land. Because of this the pilot attempted to go around, however with the aircraft in landing configuration and with high density altitude conditions at 100' AGL the aircraft stalled, the left wing dropped, and the pilot did not have enough altiude to recover before hitting the ground with the aircraft eventually coming to rest upside down .
