From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Behind me during the engine run up and propeller checks.

When all preflight checklist items were completed, received a takeoff clearance and

Began taxing to RW25. As the pilot straightened out the airplane from its angled position on

The taxiway, they did not immediately return to the taxiway centerline. As they approached the

Edge of the taxiway, the right engine propeller struck two elevated taxiway lights. Pilot reported hearing a loud noise as the propeller blades shattered upon impact with the taxiway lights.

Pilot called the tower and explained what had happened and was cleared to taxi back to the ramp for repairs. Upon shutdown of the engines, pilot inspected and photographed the damage to the right engine prop and to the fuselage.
