From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 07/27/2021 N327TT was piloted by privacy data omitted. Shortly after takeoff the engine stopped producing power just after takeoff and an emergency off field landing ensued approximately 2000 ft. from the departure field. The aircraft touched down in a field approximately 500 feet from where it stopped. On this experimental weight shift control aircraft one toe pedal controlled the break and the other controlled the throttle. After landing in the field the power was restored on the aircraft. The passenger believes he inadvertently applied both pedals causing the throttle to increase to max rpm's. as the aircraft began to gain speed on the ground roll it subsequently hit a large fence post coming to an abrupt stop.

As the FAA filed it

ON 07/27/2021 N327TT WAS PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.
