From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was given clearance to taxi to the runway for takeoff. On taxi out he felt the flight control jerk to the right and he stated that he knew he had struck something and immediately applied the brakes. He stated he looked to the right and saw the his right wing over the snj left wing. The aileron of the sbd had struck the wing tip of the snj leaving a dent in the wing tip and it ran down the leading edge of the snj leaving minor dents and scratches.
