What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Because of other aircraft in the traffic pattern, the pilot extended his downwind leg and did not lower the gear where he normally does on the downwind leg. He then continued to base, final and touchdown never lowering the landing gear. Because he was wearing noise cancelling headsets he did not hear the gear warning. The aircraft touched down on the centerline and slid to a stop left of centerline. The aircraft received minor damage. There were no injuries.
