From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

In level cruise at 4500MSL while leaning mixture the engine lost all power and would not restart.

PIC made emergency landing in cornfield and the nose landing gear sheared off.

Initial check of fuel tanks did not show any fuel in right wing tank and minimal fuel in left wing tank.

PIC stated that he was flying with the fuel selector on the right tank. He stated that he looked into the fuel tanks during preflight and saw fuel and the right fuel quantity gauge indicated 3/4 of a tank when battery power was applied prior to the flight.
