From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Evidence of the wreckage from N360WM as well as a wriiten statement from the pilot indicate that the aircraft attempted to land on runway 34 at the Redding airport (rdd).

Damage as well as the pilot statement show that the pilot flared high causing the aircraft to strike the pavement hard which collapsed the left main landing gear. The collapsed landing gear caused the aircraft to ground loop. The aircraft then struck the left wing and came to a stop. Signatures from the propeller indicate that the engine was operating at the time of the

Crash.
