From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Although the issues had been resolved, privacy data omitted made several ?high speed runs? Down the runway to verify engine operation. privacy data omitted Then took off and made a pattern circuit. During the approach soucy had difficulties during the flare and made a hard landing which caused the aircraft to porpoise. Soucy applied power to go around but the aircraft would not climb.

Soucy reduced power and landing on the runway with a ?soft? Landing. N313RC settled onto the runway and skidded on off the paved surface to the left onto the grass facing back down the runway.
