What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Aircraft approached L05 runway 17, crossed the threshold at approximately 80 mph and bounced, pilot then applied power to keep aircraft from dropping again. The pilot was approaching the runway end and veered left off the end of the runway. The nose wheel struck a bolder, causing the wheel to collapse and the propeller to strike the ground and nose over. No injuries, no damage to third-party property, and aircraft experienced minor damage.
