From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that he departed pdk at 1745 UTC for ahn. All appeared normal, preflight showed proper inflation in tires and no obvious damage. Upon touchdown at ahn at 1812UTC the pilot noticed additional drag on the right main. He was able to maintain centerline and as the plane slowed, a very rough bumpy rolling was felt. The tower explained they saw some smoke from the tire during rollout. After bringing the aircraft to a complete stop on the runway. The pilot and airport personnel inspected the tire and wheel for damage. All appeared safe but the tire was flat. The pilot pulled up about 20 meters to the nearest taxiway to remove the aircraft from runway. A maintenance crew came out and towed it back to their hangar and installed a new tire. After replacing the tire aircraft was released back into service. The subject aircraft was flown back to pdk it's home base at approximately 2030UTC.
