From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omittedPilot stated that he was on a normal approach to landing at Fall City Airport. He said that due to the shorter wingspan of this model of aircraft, the approach is normally conducted with the nose at an increased angle, reducing the forward visibility on approach. He misjudged the touchdown point and landed long. The aircraft continued the landing roll off of the end of the runway into the wet grass and mud.

The nose gear sunk into the mud causing the linkage to bend and the propeller to strike the mud bending the blades.
