What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
33. Person acting as pilot (not certificated) was conducting the initial flight after his extensive repairs and reassembly of the aircraft. The aircraft had been involved in a previous accident. After takeoff at about 100 feet AGL, he reported that the engine began running rough. He stated that he switched the fuel selector from both, to left, then right, then back to both. He stated he had to reduce the throttle to idle to keep the engine from shaking violently. The aircraft descended, hitting the ground and then continuing until striking a hangar/home porch post, coming to rest against the corner of the building. No post crash fire. Only minor injury to the solo person acting as pilot. Minor damage to the property on the ground.
