From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon landing, aircraft touched down adjacent to intended runway 31 (in grass). During rollout or taxi to runway surface, the aircraft came into contact with 3,000' runway distance remaining sign, knocking it over. Pilot requested taxi for departure and IFR clearance to next destination. After conversation with operations personnel, ATC requested pilot to bring aircraft to FBO to assess possible damage. Pilot taxied to FBO. After assessing damage, the pilot chose to depart the airport to final destination with aircraft leading edge damage.
