What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
After landing safely on rwy 24 at Hazard airport in Kentucky under windy and gusty conditions, the pilot attempted to make a u-turn at the end of the runway for taxi-back to FBO. While turning a strong gust got under his wing and lifted it up.
To correct, the pilot released his right brake, which caused the airplane to roll off the end of the runway as it picked up speed and fell into the valley at the end and landed upside down.
