From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

SIC was taxiing the aircraft. Crew were given taxi instructions to runway 34 via r, t and c. SIC stated the brakes worked prior to taxi. Approaching the hold short line for runway 34, SIC had the aircraft props in beta and was unable to stop aircraft with brakes before the hold short line and the aircraft veered towards the right and made impact with the taxiway edge light. PIC was also unable to stop the aircraft to prevent event from occurring. Additionally, aircraft did not have clearance from ATC to enter runway. This event resulted in a damaged propeller and damage to taxiway edge light. Crew was unaware of damage and departed airport to destination. Crew noticed damage to propeller after landing at destination. Upon further investigation, data provided by airport showed damage to taxiway edge light.
