On 3/25/2022 at approximately 1127HRS ctd a Robinson R-44 helicopter sn 30007 registered as N514CD suffered a tail boom/rotor separation at approximately 1600? AGL and crashed in a vacant lot located at lakeview pkwy and grisham street in Rowlett Texas. The CFI and heli transition student were killed on impact.
