From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed from peevee bar cabin approximately 12:00PM. Weather, few high clouds, winds light and variable. Plane was loaded at 2/3 weight capacity and had 4HRS fuel onboard. After an hour of flight, was practicing landings at the site of wreck at the head of the frederika and nizina glaciers. Had done 5 touch and goes prior to accident in the area. During approach for another touch and go noticed airspeed and altitude was a little low so initiated a go around. Shortly after go around was initiated encountered wind shear plane stalled dropping approximately 50 ft onto glacier. Both me and passenger where uninjured. The landing gear had bent up to the struts so we exited through the back door. While waiting at wreck site winds were light and variable with occasional down mountain gusts.
