From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After landing and taxiing back to the hangar, pilot performed "s" turns, as the high pitched nose during taxi obstructs forward view. This can be the case with many tailwheeled aircraft. As pilot neared an intersection to make a right turn towards the hangar, pilot was convinced there was nothing in front, but as soon as pilot made the right turn, noticed the aircraft in the run up area for runway 19. Pilot did all he could to at least avoid a propeller strike, but his left leading edge wing collided with the tail of N7772B, a Cessna 180.
