From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot narrative: "at approximately 50? On final approach rwy 01R, a flock of birds that were in the grass to the right of the runway, started to fly away. At 20 feet, they changed their path and came across the runway from right to left. At this point, I had already begun bringing the thrust to idle for touchdown. I committed to land because a go around would have likely resulted in a bird strike anyway. Just before touchdown, we hit multiple birds. Tower was advised immediately."
