From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed kcht at 5 pm CST on June 8, 2022 to 12A. The flight enroute was very good, approximately 2 hours enroute. Once runway 12A was in sight cancelled the IFR flight plan and set up for approach on runway 18. The approach to 18 has a ridge, power line and a house. Held 80 knots until clear of obstacles and then lowered flaps. The main wheels touched down on the centerline at the desired point. The plane then bounced once and on the second bounce, the nose landing gear gave way. The left main wheel then went off the edge of the asphalt and gave way. When the front nose landing gear gave way, the front engine prop struck the runway. When the left main landing gear gave way, the left hand wing tip struck the ground. The plane stopped at the end of the runway.

Description of damage: nose gear, left hand main get, front prop, and left hand wing tip.
