From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

On 06/09/2022 at approximately 1145MNT, privacy data omittedlanded at the Mccall id airport (kmyl) and veered off the right side of the runway into the grass when brakes were applied after landing. This caused the left wing and horizontal stabalizer to make contact with the ground causing substantion damage. 2 people on board sustained no injuries.

The left brake line fitting to the caliper had broken due to unknown circumstances. There was no visual damage to brake line, caliper or fitting. The left brake line and caliper were sent to the NTSB for further inspection to determine what possibly caused the fitting to fail. Received report from NTSB laboratory and the fitting showed a contact mark from an unknown object most likely causing the fitting to fail.
