From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was cleared for landing touch and go #1 on rwy 21 at fsd and a jet was cleared to land #2 for rwy 21. Pilot didn't want to impede the flow of the landing jet. The pilot carried more airspeed than usual for landing, when the pilot touched down on the runway the aircraft bounced and the pilot immediately applied full power and initiated a climb to conduct a go around. The aircraft yawed right and pitched up resulting in the right wing stalling and wingtip contacting the ground. The pilot utilized appropriate rudder control input to lift the right wing. The aircraft was now headed 230-240 direction towards the sod. The pilot decided to conduct a landing in the sod, when the aircaft touched down, the left main landing gear sunk into the soft ground due to substantial rain from the night prior. This resulted in an aggressive left turn ground loop situation which collapsed the left main gear. When the aircraft came to a stop the pilot conducted an appropriate shutdown procedure and exited the aircraft and immediately contacted tower.

As the FAA filed it
