From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Multiple factors lead to aircraft departing runway on left side:

1) Left quartering head wind

2) P-factor from propeller/engine at full/takeoff power

3) Additional lift added while flaps still in full down position while engine power was increased to full power yielding less directional control from nose wheel

4) Student pilot leaned to right to raise flap handle while inadvertantly pushing on left rudder pedal when engine was at full/takeoff power (checklist used out of normal sequence)
