From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was attempting to land runway 17. Due to gusty quartering crosswinds the pilot performed a go-around. The pilot then set-up to land runway 35. Due to a 10 knot, quartering tailwind with gusts to about 20, the pilot touched down about 1/3 of the way past the runway threshold. Although the runway surface was dry the pilot reported no braking action. During rollout the pilot departed the runway surface to the east. The pilot then made a correction to turn back toward the runway. The aircraft ran through the marker rocks on the NE corner of the runway and continued down the hill at the north end of the airport and came to rest in some pine trees.
