From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot stated when he was on final to msy runway 29 he put the landing gear down and got a transition light that would not extinguish. He performed the emergency extension check list with no help. At this time he informed the tower of his situation and requested a visual from them. The tower said it appeared that all the landing gear was extended. So he attempted to land and after he touched down while rolling out the right main landing gear collapsed. The aircraft skidded to the right side of the runway into the grass and came to a stop.
