From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft ground looped during takeoff roll from gravel ski strip 20. Student pilot certificate only with two passengers on board. Student pilot does not have a solo endorsement. Pilot has not received any training in the previous 12 months.

Note: pilot flight time in last 90 days and last year indicate 1 hour, however the pilot did not fly any hours in the last year. The -23 will not allow less than 1 hour or unknown to be entered which is a programming error. The form can not be saved without indicating at least 1 hour of flight, which in this case is not correct.
