From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On August 9, 2022, at approximately 0740, aircraft privacy data omitted, a Cirrus SR-20, attempted to land at Winchester regional airport (okv) VA. Immediatley on landing, the nose gear collapsed as the aircraft nose settled on to the runway. The pilot maintained the aircraft on the runway centerline until the aircraft veered to the right into the grass. The damage to the aircraft was limited to the nose landing gear, propeller, engine, and engine cowling. The pilot sustained no injuries. No passengers were on board the aircraft. At that time the FAA was notified.

A closer inspection of the nose landing gear revealed that the nose gear had sheared off.
