From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated upon landing he was higher and the airspeed was faster than a normal approach and landing so he adjusted his touchdown point on the runway. On touchdown, the aircraft skipped and proceeded to bounce. The aircraft went left and then proceeded to do a sharp left turn. The pilot tried to counteract it with oppisite right rudder and it was not enough to keep the aircraft on the runway. The aircraft came into contact with a runway/taxiway sign causing damage to the leading edge of the left wing. Along with the trailing edge of the left flap. The left main landing gear also was damaged as well.
