From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot had previously departed from cnb at approximately 17.55 CDT with a load of cover crop seed. At approximately 19:05 CDT the pilot returned to cnb to reload to finish spraying. While landing, upon the tail wheel touching down the aircraft made an immediate turn to the right. The pilot could not stop the turn and the aircraft ground looped. The left main landing gear was broken off and the left wing contacted the ground, causing substantial damage to the aft wing spar.
