From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 09/26/2022, I was notified by the roc that an aircraft privacy data omitted, CE-414, landing on runway 35, at Augusta, Georgia, (kags), at 1326 (UTC), the nose gear collapse on landing. Tower had the aircraft jacked and removed from blocking the runway. There were no reported injuries and only reported damage to the aircraft.

Pilot stated: “was on approach when gear light indicated not locked. Did a go –around and got good indication that all gear was down and locked. Tower indicated they saw the gear down. When I landed and the airplane nose gear made contact with the runway, the nose gear collapsed.”
