From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

BVN7759 (showme 7759), a Cessna C208,privacy data omitted, made a 180 turn on runway 8L without ATC authorization and struck a taxiway light. The C208 landed runway 8L and the local control (lc) instructed them to turn at the reverse high-speed taxiway foxtrot echo. The read back was correct. BVN7759 made a right 180 degree turn just prior to taxiway foxtrot echo, taxied back down runway 8L to taxiway foxtrot delta and struck a taxiway light in the process. There was no other traffic involved. The pilot stated he felt something like a flat tire while taxing but did not realize he hit something. The aircraft rolled smoothly after this initial indication so he continued to taxi to the cargo ramp. He discovered the damage to the aircraft propeller after shutdown and immediately notified maintenance. The pilot and maintenance team then notified the airport that they hit something while taxiing from the runway. The airport personnel located two damaged taxiway lights.
