From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman was conducting a flight from dvo to AZ19. In the vicinity of Chino Valley, the engine quit causing the airman to perform a dead stick landing. The terrain was relatively smooth and free of obstacles. The airman landed the aircraft with no damage and no injuries to the pilot. The aircraft was moved to a secured location until receiving further disposition. The aircraft was ground transported to a repair station and it was determined that a failed electric fuel pump was the cause of the fuel starvation. The part is being replaced at this time.
