From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After departing runway 27 at ldj, at about 100 feet above the ground, the pilot in command (PIC) retracted the landing gear. At that point, all the electronics in the cockpit went dark and the transponder cut off. After the gear retracted, the lights came back on. PIC decided to return and land the aircraft. On final approach, as he entered short final phase, he heard the landing gear warning horn, but disregarded it as a stall horn. As the aircraft touched down with the landing gear retracted, the propeler blades struck the runway and the aircraft skidded to a full stop.
