From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While on the CLMNT2 arrival into kpbi from kteb, privacy data omitted(RNI81)

Experienced unexpected severe turbulence. During the initial

Decent for the arrival the fasten seatbelt sign was illuminated. Shortly after leveling off at FL240 at or around point 'bisks' is where the turbulence was encountered. The crew immediately diverted to the right (west) of course. Both PIC and SIC had weather radar with no indications, but reported the turbulence to ATC and notified them of the deviation and requested lower altitude in an effort to avoid further turbulence. After confirming aircraft control the crew assessed the condition of the passengers and aircraft. At this point the crew realized that the passengers were not secured in their seats with seatbelts fastened. One of the passengers head impacted somewhere in the plane and requested medical evaluation be waiting at the FBO. The

Crew proceeded to pbi on the arrival. ATC attempted to give the visional to 10L but because of the nature of the situation and a light rain shower on the west of the field and over the inbound course, the ILS 10L was requested and cleared. After shutting down the #1 and #2 engines the passengers told the crew the 6 month old passenger was also in need of medical evaluation. After paramedics assessed and advised the passengers of futher care/treatment the crew saw there was debris strown about the cabin, over head panels on the floor, glasses and light bulbs broken.

The flight data recorder (frd) was downloaded a=ND sent to the airplane manufacturer for evailuation. After evaluation from the manufacturer the FDR showed the aircraft remained within the limits. The aircraft was subjected to a turbulent air inspection and there were no findings.
