From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Executed a GPS instrument approach to runway 27L at the Ohio state university airpot (kosu) on December 6, 2022 at approximately 8AM. The ATIS was reporting 1/4SM visibility in fog with vertical visibility of 200 feet. Approximately 3-4 minutes prior to N904GW starting the instrument approach, a single engine airplane executed the same approach to the same runway and successfully landed on 27L on the first attempt. When privacy data omitted descended to minimum altitude and saw the runway envrionment in sight, they continued below minimums under visual conditions. The PIC stated they landed within the touchdown zone on 27L and applied brakes. They do not know why they ran off the departure end of the runway. The PIC estimated they left the departure end of 27L at approximately 20 knots. Once slow they turned the airplane around and received taxi instructions from ground control to taxi to the ramp. Once on the ramp they conducted normal shutdown procedure and exited the airplane to inspect any possible damage. They walked in to the terminal and notified their company to cancel remaining flights that day.

As the FAA filed it

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ EXECUTED A GPS INSTRUMENT APPROACH TO RUNWAY 27L AT THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY AIRPOT (KOSU) ON DECEMBER 6, 2022 AT APPROXIMATELY 8AM. WHEN ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DESCENDED TO MINIMUM ALTITUDE AND SAW THE RUNWAY ENVRIONMENT IN SIGHT, THEY CONTINUED BELOW MINIMUMS UNDER VISUAL CONDITIONS.
