From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Was cleared by ATC for the approach into Poplar. Once established, the PIC said the aircraft was configured for landing and everything (airspeed, rate of descent, etc...) Looked good. He momentarily leveled out at decision altitude and with the runway in sight, calculated that a safe and stabilized approach could be made. The aircraft was right of centerline and the PIC corrected to the left as he continued the descent. At this time the airplane started to lose altitude and the SIC called for more power. The PIC pushed the throttles forward and pitched up. The aircraft was too low at this point and hit the ground.

As the FAA filed it

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS CLEARED BY ATC FOR THE APPROACH INTO POPLAR.
