From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Shortly after touchdown, the aircraft swerved off the runway into the grass running along the east side of the asphalt. The aircraft was skidding in the dirt when the nose rose and fell over a dirt mound that forced the propeller to repeatedly strike the ground and forcing the aircraft over itself, pivoting abhout its spinner. The leading edge of the right wing struck a concrete retaining wall and the airplane came to rest on its back. A nearby mechanic broke the pilot side window allowing the pilots to escape.
