From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

CFI stated they were conducting a commercial maneuver required by the commercial airman certification standards (acs), which is called a 180º power off approach and landing maneuver. The training was conducted at Osage City airport (53K), at Osage City, KS. CFI stated the following: “we turned from downwind to base to final, I did not notice our decaying airspeed even as the stall warning sounded for an instant. When I realized that a safe landing was in question and called for a go-around”. CFI stated during a phone conversation with inspector arena that although he called for a go-around, neither officer privacy data omitted nor the CFI took action to go-around. The maneuver ended in a stall that impacted the ground at a high rate of descent, causing damage to the landing gear, propellers, and possibly the engine.
